Brad Wittwer | Founder

Brad founded Arete in 2026, driven by his passion for discovering exceptional talent and catalyzing individuals to embark on their defining venture. Brad draws upon his wide-ranging experiences as an SMB entrepreneur, investor, and launcher of holding companies built upon both M&A and organic growth.

Prior to Arete, Brad co-founded Evergreen (backed by Alpine Investors). Over his eight years there, the Evergreen team reached $1.6B in annual revenue and completed over 150 acquisitions. As President and COO, he was responsible for selecting CEOs, leading boards, driving organic growth, and serving on the investing committee. Prior to Evergreen, Brad built the corporate development/investing function at Scaleworks. He was the first employee at Xenon Partners, going on to become CEO of portfolio companies CloudApp and then Qualaroo. He enjoys reading, dogs, and just about any activity in nature.
